Our People

Peter O' Hara
Peter founded the practice in 1989 after spending many years with several
leading Insolvency firms in West Yorkshire. Initially, the practice traded from small premises in Batley before moving to its present location in 1991.

Throughout this time Peter has been appointed on every type of insolvency, dealing with a large variety of companies and businesses, primarily
in the Yorkshire area.

Peter has been a Chartered Secretary since 1972 and became one of the
founder members of the IPA in 1980. He is also a member of the Institute of
Credit Management, and is the longest serving member of the R3 Yorkshire
Region Committee.

Simon Weir, Partner and Insolvency Practitioner

Simon Weir
Simon joined the Practice in 1992 straight from Newcastle University where he gained an honours degree in Economics.

He qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner after passing his JIEB exams in 1999 and was made a Partner shortly thereafter. He is experienced in all aspects of insolvency and corporate recovery.

Outside of work and Family time, Simon's main interetests are sport, including watching Bradford City Football Club, Playing Golf (Genuine 28 Handicap) and socialising in Leeds

Graham Gaging
Graham joined the Practice in 2000 and manages the Doncaster Office.

Graham is a qualified Management Accountant and member of the Institute of Credit Management. He previously worked in credit management at British Coal, Crown Paints and latterly at Mansfield Brewery where he was heavily involved in their insolvency work.

His main interest outside work is gardening.

Michael Royce
Michael joined the practice in 2002 from a firm of Accountants.

He has passed his Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency and is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

Michael is a keen sports fan playing football and cricket for his local teams and golf at his local course.
