Peter O'Hara insolvency Practitioner
 
Peter O' Hara
Peter founded the practice in 1989 after spending many years with several leading Insolvency firms in West Yorkshire. Initially, the practice traded from small premises in Batley before moving to its present location in 1991.

Throughout this time Peter has been appointed on every type of insolvency, dealing with a large variety of companies and businesses, primarily in the Yorkshire area.

Peter has been a Chartered Secretary since 1972 and became one of the founder members of the IPA in 1980. He is also a member of the Institute of Credit Management, and is the longest serving member of the R3 Yorkshire Region Committee.

Simon Weir, Partner and Insolvency Practitioner

 

 

Simon Weir
Simon graduated from Newcastle University in 1991 with a BA(hons) in Economics before joining the practice in 1992.

After passing the JIEB exams in 1999 Simon obtained his licence as an Insolvency Practitioner and was made a partner in the firm shortly thereafter. He is experienced in all aspects of Insolvency and Corporate Recovery and is a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Association of Business Recocovery Professionals.

Simon's main interests outside of work and family include watching Bradford City, running and playing a bit of golf.

Stephen Crayton, Cashier  

Stephen Crayton
Stephen Crayton joined the practice in 1993, having spent most of his career working in the wool trade. He has been deployed on many of the more complex cases and has helped run nursing homes, a day nursery and some large scale manufacturing plants.

In the past few years he has moved to the cashiering department and also helps look after statutory reporting. He is a keen walker, a below average snooker player and of course, a big Rhinos fan.

Graham Gaging,  Doncaster office manager

Graham Gaging
Graham joined the Practice in 2000 and manages the Doncaster Office.

Graham is a qualified Management Accountant and member of the Institute of Credit Management. He previously worked in credit management at British Coal, Crown Paints and latterly at Mansfield Brewery where he was heavily involved in their insolvency work.

His main interest outside work is gardening.

Steven Oddi

Steven Oddi
Steven joined the practice in February 2009 having spent 3 years working in insolvency in Leeds city centre.

He has previously worked for one of the “Big Four” accountancy firms where he gained his CPI qualification in 2008.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys sports participating in martial arts, running and football on a regular basis.

Amy Dunford

Amy Dunford
Amy joined the firm in January 2008 after spending almost four years in accountancy she gained her Association of Accounting Technician qualification.

She previously worked as an accounts assistant at Jones Accountants & Stock Auditors and later at Brown Butler Chartered Accountants in Leeds.

In her spare time Amy loves to socialise with friends and is a keen netball player who keeps fit by attending her local gym.

Dominic Riordan
Dominic
joined the firm in November 2006 after previously working for an accountancy firm in Leeds.

Outside of work his time is predominatly spent playing football.

Gareth Howarth
Gareth joined the practice in June 2009 having previously worked for Armstrong Watson and Ideal Corporate Solutions (Yorkshire) Limited.

Gareth graduated from Leeds University in 2004 with a Ba (Hons) in Economics.

In his spare time he enjoys watching Bolton Wanderers and playing golf.
